Beyond the kingdom, there is a race of extraterrestrial beings that control the tides as well as also the shifting of the seasons. One among those beings, a girl called Chun, seeks something more--she wishes to experience the human world! At sixteen, she finally gets her chance also transforms to some marathon as a way to explore. But she soon finds it's really a dangerous place and nearly gets killed in a vortex. Fortunately, her entire life is spared if a boy sacrifices himself to save her. Moved with his kindness and courage, she uses magic to bring him back alive only to learn this power comes in a price that is serious. On a new adventure, she will have to produce her own sacrifices until it's ready to go back to the human world as a way to safeguard his spirit.
