Danton

Danton and Robespierre were close friends and struggled together in the French Revolution, but Robespierre was France's ruler, determined to get rid of resistance with a streak of executions that became known as the Reign of Terror. He came back to challenge Robespierre's barbarous rule and call for its public to demand their faith, although danton, well called being a spokesman of those individuals, had been residing in privacy in the countryside. Nevertheless, could not accept this type of challenge, even by the good friend and colleague, and he halted a policy for its capture and execution of his own allies and Danton out.
