Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods

Battle of Gods' events take place a few years following the conflict with Majin Buu, that determined the fate of the world. After awakening from the long slumber, Beerus, the God of Destruction is seen by Whis, his attendant and learns that the galactic overlord Frieza has been conquered by a Super Saiyan from the North Quadrant of the world named Goku, who's also a former student of the North Kai. Ecstatic Goku, over the challenge ignores battles Beerus and King Kai's advice, but he's readily defeated and overwhelmed. Beerus leaves, however his spooky remark of"Can there be on Earth more worthy to destroy?" lingers on. Until all is lost, it is up to the heroes to discontinue the God of Destruction.
