Laughing Under the Clouds

At the center of a huge lake, an inescapable prison, the Gokumonjou, was established At the dawn of the Meiji period to offset the crime rates that the new age has brought. Called the ferrymen would be the renowned Kumou brothers: the most family head. The kid that is reckless but noble, Soramaru. Chuutarou, and the guileless most youthful. In spite of their grim work, the three lead resides from Oumi's town, Shirasu Kinjou, together with their housekeeper. But buried in the long history of Oumi may be that the legend of this terrifying"Orochi," a serpentine beast that awakens every three 100 years in an individual boat. Unbeknownst to Chuutarou and Soramaru, before it revives this Kumou family's job is to guard the Orochi off --or even the entire world is likely to soon be plunged into destruction. Following the monster's next resurrection, the Kumou family has to find the fix.
