Nineteen-year-old Leon comes home to take care of his alcoholic mother and learn how to be an adult after living in and out of foster homes as a teen. He also has to learn how to be an adult. When Leon is angry about not having an education and having poor financial prospects, he turns to the boxing ring for comfort. It doesn't take long before he meets the rebellious and beautiful Twiggy, who is living in abandoned houses to get away from her rich and cold family. The streets start to rumble with rumors of riots. Leon has to decide if he wants to fight with his friends or look for a new life with Twiggy, who he hasn't seen in ages.
