G.T. Benz, a vietnam vet and recent widower, strives to manage the problems of aging and isolation -- while still beset by an competitive robo-caller. Aggravations and the tedium in his entire own life are relieved by way of a weekly get-together with his older'Nam friends, ex-fighter pilots like himself. He joyfully looks forward to a guaranteed trip from his long scattered kid,"Tricia," whom he describes as"my sole basis for living."
