The Adventures of Mark Twain

This feature-length Claymation tale chronicles the exploits of Tom Sawyer, Becky Thatcher, and Huck Finn as they stowaway aboard Mark Twain's interplanetary balloon. Disgusted by humanity, Twain is determined to locate Halley's Comet and collide with it, thus fulfilling his "destiny." Tom, Becky, and Huck must persuade him that his assessment is incorrect, and that he still has much to offer humanity that may make a difference. Their efforts aren't only benevolent; if they fail, they'll suffer the same fate as Mark Twain. They use a magical time portal along the route to obtain a full overview of Mark Twain's worldview, as well as observe the "actual" events that inspired his works.
