The Assault

Saturday 24th. Four GIA terrorists hijack an Air France A300 Airbus at the Algiers airport. The air bus has passengers aboard. No one knows just what the terrorists' aims are that they are armed and determined. They require the liberation of the"brothers in arms" and want the aircraft to take off at the same time. After lengthy and intense negotiations involving the French and Algerian governments, the plane is now allowed to remain. There are 3 main characters at the core of the actions: some member of this GIGN,'' Carole Jeanton, an ambitious technocrat willing to do anything needed to reach personal profit from those events, and Yahia Abdallah, a determined jihadist who grew up in the slums of Algiers and was being manipulated through an vague GIA envoy, Ali Touchent.
