The People vs. Fritz Bauer

The year is late 1950s. Germany, thriving as a result of the economic miracle, has grown increasingly complacent toward confronting the atrocities of its recent past. Fritz Bauer, meanwhile, continues to devote his talents to bringing the Third Reich to justice. Bauer receives a letter from Argentina one day, sent by a guy convinced that his daughter is dating Adolph Eichmann's son. Excited by the intriguing lead and suspicious of a corrupt legal system rife with Nazi remnants, Bauer travels to Jerusalem in search of an alliance with Mossad, Israel's secret service. To do so would be treason, yet it is the only way Bauer can serve his nation.
