The Return of the Musketeers

D'Artagnan is hired by Mazarin in 1649 to find the other three musketeers: Mazarin is afraid of an insurrection, especially from the popular Beaufort, since that Cromwell has ousted the English monarchy. Aristocratic Aramis and brawler Athos support Beaufort in secret. Porthos is bored with riches and wants a title. The musketeers are expendable after failing to stop Beaufort's escape from prison, so Mazarin sends them to London to rescue Charles I. Milady de Winter's vengeful daughter Justine is also after them—she was their enemy 20 years ago and wants vengeance. They need to get out of England, avoid Justine, serve the Queen, and ensure Beauford's political reforms are implemented.
