The Super

Joe Pesci stars as Louie Kritski, a mysterious landlord who is blessed in keeping up his ghetto apartment he is threatened with prison time. The judge gives him another option, he accepts -- before he brings it up to liveable standards, he needs to reside in his rat-infested hell gap. The judge gives him 120 days, where time Louie meets many of the tenants, including drug dealer Marlon (Ruben Blades). Louie develops more sympathetic and finds the consequences of his own greediness. Unfortunately, Louie's dad, Large Lou Kritski (Vincent Gardenia), is the true owner of this property, and he frees his son's entreaties to devote money to clean the spot.
