3--2--inch was a favorite game series which has been produced by Yorkshire Television for ITV. It ran for ten decades, between 2-9 July 1978 and also 2-4 December 1988. It was based on a Spanish game-show called Un, dos, tres... responda otra vez and has been three shows at a single, a quiz show, a variety show and a video game series. The series was a success consistently attracting ratings. The first series, though, thought to be a summer season, brought up to 16.5 million audiences and subsequent decades never neglected to peak below 12 million. The series occupied a Saturday early evening slot for most of its run. The final xmas special attracted 12.5 million viewers, therefore it would be for this afternoon unclear why an eleventh series wasn't commissioned in 1989. Ted Rogers claimed at a 1996 interview that"that the Oxbridge lot got hands of television and they did not really want it. It had been too down market. Once they took it off we were getting 12 million audiences. These days if a show gets nine-million everybody else has a lap of honor " .
