Blue Water High

It is an Australian television drama series called Blue Water High. It is aired by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation on ABC1 and on the Austar/Foxtel Nickelodeon channel in Australia, as well as on other channels in a great number of other countries. The lives of a young group of students at Solar Blue, a high-performance surf academy where many fortunate 16-year-olds are picked for a year-long surfing program on Sydney's northern beaches, are chronicled throughout each season of the series. There are three different series that take place in Blue Water High. The first two seasons were shown in 2005 and 2006, and the producers had no intention of developing a third season for the show. In spite of this, they caved in to pressure from fans and produced one further series, with just Kate Bell reprising her role as the show's primary protagonist. Solar Blue was cancelled after the conclusion of its third season, which was a clear indication that the show would not be revived.
