The Dead Zone
The Dead Zone Stephen King's Dead Zone has been an science fiction/suspense series starring Anthony Michael Hall as Johnny Smith, who discovers he has developed psychic abilities after having a coma. The show, credited as"centered on characters" in Stephen King's 1979 publication of the identical name, first aired in 2002, and has been produced by Lionsgate Television and CBS Paramount Network Television for the USA Network.
The show dropped and it had been picked up by USA, although the show was commissioned for UPN. The series has been filmed for its first five seasons in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The first and sixth season was charged as"the summer season that affects everything" and production was moved to Montreal.
The deadzone was likely to be renewed for a seventh season in December 2007 the series has been canceled due to high production cost and low ratings , with out a series finale.
Some rumors spread that the string would be picked up by Syfy when USA canceled it, however it didn't happen. Rumors of a made for TV movie have faded with time.
