Alice Upside Down
Mourning the death of her mother a couple of decades ago, ALICE McKINLEY finds her life interrupted when her daddy BEN buys a shop and moves her along with her elderly brother LESTER into some town. At the painful throes of adolescence, Alice includes a rough time adjusting to her new faculty, particularly if she gets the stern MRS. PLOTKIN as her core teacher. Feeling shy and isolated, Alice frequently flows into a fantasy life which occasionally gets her into hot water. But with only just a bit surprising help from Mrs. Plotkin, Alice learns never to judge by appearances or jump into conclusions. More importantly, she confronts her dad along with his inability to accept their loss and move on in to the near future...
