Avalon High
Disney Channel's production of Julie Sherman Wolfe's screenplay adaptation of the popular novel Avalon High by Meg Cabot. Elaine"Ellie" Harrison has moved from Minnesota into Annapolis, Maryland while her parents take a yearlong sabbatical to keep on their ancestral research in local DC. Avalon High, her new school, may seem like a high school with the students: Lance that the jock, Jennifer that the cheerleader, Marco, the lousy boy/desperado, and can, the class president, quarterback, and all. However, perhaps not everybody at Avalon High is who they appear to be, perhaps not Ellie herself. It will become apparent that Avalon High can be a circumstance where the early legend is repeating itself. Will, Jennifer, Lance, Marco, along with Mr. Morton all correspond to King Arthur, Queen Guinevere, Knight Lancelot, Mordred, and Merlin, respectively.
