Blood Child
Blood Child is a true-crime horror thriller. Bill and Ashely DiAngelo appear to have it all: a job posting in Singapore, a tropical lifestyle, and a new baby on the way. Tragically, she loses the baby and falls into a profound depression. Ashley, unbeknownst to Bill, determines that the only way for her to "be" with her miscarried kid is to engage in the occult practice of raising her own "ghost child" in Southeast Asia. Siti, her Indonesian maid, is tasked with finding a bomoh (witch doctor) who knows how to capture the spirit of unborn deceased fetuses. Siti attempts but fails to persuade Ashley not to use such wicked magic. Meanwhile, Bill believes that the pair should travel home to Minnesota to restart their lives in order to put the awful events of the miscarriage behind them. Ashley and Bill are astonished to discover themselves pregnant again a few months after returning to the US....
