Bottle Rocket
(Wes Anderson's feature debut was influenced by this short film.) Crime's banality. Dignan and Anthony, two young males, stroll along, conversing about "Starsky and Hutch." They're on their way to commit a burglary. Following that, they visit a café and play pinball. They fight about the burglary and discuss another idea with their pal Bob. They approach a man about purchasing a pistol only to intimidate. Anthony burglarizes an automobile in order to take a wallet. They plan and conduct a holdup with Bob and then discuss it at a burger stand: armed robbery for $183. They are ecstatic. The two friends engage in a race.
