Bright Young Things
In the 1930s, a social group dubbed the "Bright Young Things" by the press – who closely monitor their every move – are Adam and his companions, who are eccentric, crazy, and completely shocking to the elder generation. In the midst of the mayhem, Adam, a well-connected but penniless man, is desperately attempting to raise enough money to marry the lovely Nina. While his fundraising efforts are repeatedly stymied, his buddies appear to self-destruct one by one in an endless pursuit for greater and faster sensations. Finally, when international events beyond their control collide with their lives, they are compelled to reexamine their values and priorities.
