Vincent hasn't been able to move on from the divorce of his parents, so he hasn't been able to find himself. He doesn't have a job or any real responsibilities, so he spends his time with Steve, his childhood best friend, and Jess, his girlfriend, instead. In the beginning, that is, until he meets Roma. Vincent is still in a relationship with Jess, so he introduces Roma to Steve and watches them fall in love. This makes him hide his feelings for her, because he can't show them to anyone. They get together when Steve goes out of town. They declare their love and promise to tell Steve by the end of today. However, as the sun goes down behind the skyline of Los Angeles, Vincent thinks about how his parents' marriage failed, how he hasn't grown up, and how to become a better man.
