Odette
The film is based on the true story of Special Operations Executive agent Odette Sansom, who was arrested by the Germans in1943, sentenced to death, and transferred to the Ravensbrück detention camp for execution. Nevertheless, she survived the war and testified against the prison guards at the Hamburg Ravensbrück Trials, despite all odds. She was the first woman to obtain the George Cross in1946, and the first woman to do so while still alive.
