Resting Place
A 1972 television movie set in Rockville, Georgia. Major Kendall Laird, a Survival Assistance Officer, arrives in this sleepy little town with Lieutenant Dwyte Johnson's body, a Vietnam war hero. It is Laird's responsibility to assist Johnson's parents in burying their son. However, because the deceased hero was black, his parents are refused entry by the white racists who run the town's "all-white" cemetery.
