SPEC: Zero
Senior school student Saya Toma (Erika Toda) lost her parents and younger brother at a plane crash. Detective Akio Kondo (Yu Tokui) came and told her"the loved ones includes a high probability they were killed by people that have spec." That was the first time she heard of"spec". 6 decades after, Saya Toma, who has never forgotten what the Detective said, determines to become a detective. After getting instruction by the FBI at the United 14, she returns. Saya Toma is assigned to work cases. Meanwhile, because of Satoshi Chii's (Yuu Shirota) scheme, Juichi Ninomae (Ryunosuke Kamiki) believes Saya Toma his parents' enemy and attempts to push her into the border. Satoshi Chii's scheme has caused Juichi Ninomae and also Saya Toma to forget they are sister and brother. The siblings are led to some struggle that was life-staking. A lady named Maho Ueno (Umika Kawashima) becomes involved within their struggle. To safeguard Maho Ueno, Saya Toma uses"spec".
