Summer Magic
Mother Carey is a Disney musical about a Boston widow who moves to Maine with her three children. Postmaster Osh Popham assists them in relocating to a dilapidated old house and repairs it for them. It is not wholly deserted, though; the owner, a Mr. Hamilton, is a mystery figure away in Europe, but Osh tells them that he will not mind their being there for the time being, as he will not be returning for a long time. The children and a new relative have a variety of experiences before an unexpected visitor arrives.
