The Butterfly Room
Ann is befriended with the eerily beautiful young Alice. With her innocence, Alice establishes a troubling mother daughter relationship with Ann. Lured into her universe that is twisted, Ann soon discovers that she isn't the recipient of the girl's affections. Confronted by the other female buddies of Alice, a past that is hidden awakens, unchaining a spiral of insanity: a series of bizarre and brutal crimes that Ann will have to devote to preserve her deceptive and harmless looks. The only one that recognizes there's something unsettling about Ann, is nine year-old Julie, her nextdoor neighbor's daughter. With a child's inevitable curiosity, Julie begins to learn more about the corners of Ann's flat, uncovering a dark secret hidden in the walls of the forbidden butterfly room. No one thinks what she's seen with the exception of Ann's daughter. She articulates the younger girl's fate lies in her hands.
