The Cement Garden
The mother of Julie, Jack, Sue, and Tom gets sick after her husband dies. She opens a bank account for the kids so they can be financially independent and avoid being taken into care. Julie and Jack, the elder teens, bury her body in the basement so they can run the house. Soon Tom is masquerading as a girl and Sue confides solely in her diary. Meanwhile, Jack and Julie sense an attraction. Derek, Julie's new boyfriend, gets suspicious of Jack and threatens to expose the family's dark secrets.
