The Goob
We're at the middle of a heat-wave at Fenland England. Goob Taylor has spent his sixteen summers each helping Mum run harvest and the transport cafe the surrounding beet fields. If Mum shacks up with swarthy supremo and ladies' individual gene Womack, Goob becomes a negative thought. Goob's world ends when exotic beet picker Eva arrives. Fuelled with her hurtful remarks, Goob dreams of better things.
