The Pallbearer
Tom Thompson, a budding architect, is informed by the enigmatic Ruth Abernathy that his best friend, "Bill," has committed suicide by jumping from a building. Except for the fact that Tom has never met Bill, and neither have his skeptic-like companions. Consequently, when Tom makes the mistake of agreeing to give the eulogy at Bill's funeral, he finds himself on a collision course with Ruth— who turns out to be Bill's overly sexualized mother— and Julie DeMarco, Tom's longstanding crush whom he hasn't seen since they were teenagers.
