The Summit
The Summit is just a 2012 documentary film about the 2008 k 2 tragedy. It combines documentary footage together with recreations of the events of the 2008 tragedy that is k 2. On the road to and from the summit, the eleven climbers died within a short timespan in climbing history creating one of the worst catastophes. Much of the footage was recorded by mountaineer Fredrik Sträng. Sträng was intending to perform. The footage was valuable to simply help resolving what did happen since most of the climbers had different stories about what happened.
