Valley of the Wolves: Iraq
The film begins with a fictionalized depiction of a true-life incident: the July 4, 2003, arrest of 11 Turkish special forces soldiers and 13 civilians in the northern Iraqi Kurdish town of Sulaymaniyah by US forces of the 173rd Airborne led by Colonel William C. Mayville. The Turkish soldiers believe that this is a routine visit from their NATO allies. This time, however, is unique.
