Dead Stop
The desert can be hard to deal with. It is hot enough to make a man stop in his tracks during the day. At night, the temperature drops so low that it freezes him to death. It is full of wild animals that are feral and can be very dangerous. Not a place you want to get lost. It's bad, but Todd and Josh and their friends have done just that. There are a group of teenagers and two hitchhikers they've picked up on their way to a ski trip. They've taken a wrong turn and now they're miles away from any kind of civilisation. Often, it's said that snakes, scorpions, coyotes, spiders, and all the other things that live in the desert are afraid of humans more than they are afraid of the humans. This time, there is a good reason for these people to be more than scared. Somewhere in the California desert, there is one wild animal that doesn't seem to be scared of men at all. A very big and dangerous animal that wants to eat them. It's very strong. In the beginning, it was very important. It doesn't stop. It's also hungry.
