Twelve Monkeys

At the year 2035, convict James Cole volunteers to be shipped in time to detect the origin of a virus which forced the survivors and wiped out nearly all the earth's populace. However, he's arrested and locked in a hospital, if Cole is mistakenly sent to 1990 in the place of 1996. There he meets psychiatrist Dr. Kathryn Railly, also patient Jeffrey Goines, the son of a renowned virus expert, who may hold the secret to the mysterious rogue group, the Army of the 12 Monkeys, thought to be responsible for unleashing the killer disease.
