Fame

Fame is a American television series originally produced between 1982 and 1987. The series is based on the 1980 movie of the exact same name. With a mixture of songs and drama, it followed the lifestyles of the students and college at the New York City High School for the Performing Arts. Although fictional, it had been established heavily on the True Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts in New York. Most interior scenes were filmed in Hollywood, California. The series filmed several exterior scenes on location. The series' popularity, particularly in the united kingdom, led to several hit records and live concert tours by the cast. Despite its success, not many of these celebrities claimed highprofile careers after the series was cancelled. A range of these cast members were seen in tug Back. . .Fame, a reunion special made in 2008 for UK television.
