The Future Diary

Yukiteru Amano, often known as Yuki, is a recluse who does not actually connect with other people. Instead, he prefers to write in a diary that he keeps on his mobile phone. His sole buddy is an imaginary person that he calls Deus Ex Machina, who is the God of Time and Space. However, Yuki quickly discovers that Deus is not a projection of his imagination but rather a genuine person when Deus makes him a participant in a combat royale along with eleven other individuals. Contestants in this "Journal Game" are handed unique diaries, each of which can foretell the future and contains a variety of one-of-a-kind characteristics that confer both benefits and drawbacks on the holder of the diary.
